Applicant data protection information for the “Campus Founders” (CF and CFV) according to Art. 13, 14 GDPR

Responsible for data processing in the application process is the company to which you are applying. You can find this information in the job description.

Purpose and Legal Basis
You have the opportunity to apply for the positions we have advertised. You determine the scope of the data you wish to share with us as part of your application. We process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws based on Article 88(1) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26(1) Sentence 1 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We process the data you provide during your application exclusively for the purpose of applicant selection. Your data will not be processed for any other purposes.

As part of the application process, you must provide the personal data required for the evaluation and selection of candidates. Without this data, we are generally unable to carry out a proper selection process. If you provide us with data beyond what is necessary for this purpose, please note that doing so is entirely voluntary. By submitting such information, you consent—pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR—to our processing of that data.

Retention period
Your information will be treated confidentially. If your application is unsuccessful, your documents will be deleted four months after the conclusion of the application process.

If we would like to consider your application for other or future job openings, we will explicitly ask for your consent.

Your data subject rights
According to Article 15(1) GDPR, you have the right to request information at no cost about the personal data stored about you by Campus Founders. Furthermore, you have the right—provided the legal requirements are met—to have your personal data rectified Article 16 GDPR), deleted (Article 17 GDPR), or restricted in processing (Article 18 GDPR).

If data processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object pursuant to Article 21 GDPR. If you object to the processing of your data, we will no longer process it unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests. If you have provided the data yourself, you have the right to data portability in accordance with Article 20 GDPR. However, on social media platforms, this right usually applies only to the platform provider, as they have access to your profile data.

If data processing is based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, you may withdraw
your consent at any time with future eƯect, without aƯecting the lawfulness of
processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

In such cases, or if you have questions or complaints, please contact the controller
listed above under “Controller” or the Data Protection OƯicer below, either in writing or by email.

According to Article 77 GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a
supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection laws. This right can be exercised with the supervisory authority in the Member State of your place of residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
