We will start the Impact Hackathon on Friday, 04:30 pm and we will end up on Sunday around 4:30 pm.

What do I need to participate?

Above all, we invite you to be in a good mood and have a desire for the upcoming days.

Besides that, you need to have a laptop, access to the internet and a microphone.

For exchanging and co-working we use Zoom and Miro.

For the communication between all participants we use Slack.

And for getting to know each other and do some exchange beforehand, you can join our

 

Is the event 100% online or do I have to plan to travel to Heilbronn?

The event will be online.

The current situation leads us to this decision and we use the possibility to increase our community in whole Germany and more.

What can I win from my participation?

You will meet a lot of  like-minded people to connect with and you can expand your personal network.

Furthermore you will work in an interdisciplinary, international teams.

And all finishers of the Hackathon there will be a finisher bag with nice surprises to appreciate and honor your work.

Can I participate with my friends?

Sure. Your friends can also register for the Corporate Campus Weekend by visiting our website.

Who owns what I work on during the weekend?

Everything you develop, program and design during the Impact Hackahton is your property. The organizer and the companies that provide the challenges have no claim to your development.

Can I get in contact with other participants before the start?

We would be very happy if you would exchange your ideas before the event!

Which skills do I have to have to be able to participate?

In addition to your passion for innovation and digitalization, you should have a passion for networking.
Diversity in the team is more important to us than technical expertise. That’s why we look forward to every participant who wants to get to work and generate real added value.

Coding and programming is not mandatory.

The program will be in English, so this should be one of your skills to understand basics and communicate in a safe way.

How do the teams get together?

The teams will be formed by the participants and based on the interests regarding our challenges.

Maybe you will already find fitting buddies in the LinkedIn group?

We select the participants wisely and are sure that everyone will add value.

One teams will be around 3 to 5 people.

What is the difference between the Impact Hackathon and other hackathons?

Our focus is not only on IT related stuff.

We want to create impact on topics in the fields of plastic, mobility and smart building.

We bring people together and focus on sustainable methods to find solutions for real challenges.
