Privacy Social Media

In the following we would like to inform you about the handling of your data on our social media pages in accordance with Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Responsible

We, the Campus Founders gGmbH (Bildungscampus 1, D-74076 Heilbronn, info@campusfounders.de), operate the following social media sites:

– Twitter: [https://twitter.com/WelcomeFounders]
– Facebook: [https://www.facebook.com/CampusFounders-2576697832343103]
– LinkedIn: [https://de.linkedin.com/company/campusfounders]

– Instagram: [https://www.instagram.com/ campus__founders/?hl=en]
– Eventbrite [http://campus-founders.eventbrite.com]

In addition to us, there is the operator of the social media platform itself. This is also another person responsible who carries out data processing over which we have only limited influence. Where we can exert influence, we work towards data protection-compliant handling by the operator of the social media platform within the scope of the options available to us. In many places, however, we cannot influence the data processing by the operator of the social media platform and we do not know exactly which data they are processing.

Data processing by us

The data you enter on our social media pages, e.g. B. Comments, videos, pictures, likes, public messages etc. are published through the social media platform and are never used or processed by us for any other purpose. We only reserve the right to delete content if this should be necessary. We may share your content on our site if this is a feature of the social media platform and communicate with you via the social media platform. The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f GDPR. The data is processed in the interest of our public relations work and communication.

If you wish to object to certain data processing over which we have control, please use the contact details above. We will then examine your objection for the processing of your data that concerns us. If you wish to exercise your right to object to the platform, you must contact the platform directly.

If you send us a request on the social media platform, we may also refer you to other secure communication channels that guarantee confidentiality, depending on the required response. You always have the option of sending us confidential inquiries to the address given in the imprint.

As already mentioned, where the provider of the social media service gives us the opportunity, we make sure that our social media pages are as data protection compliant as possible. In particular, we therefore do not use the demographic, interest-based, behavior-based or location-based target group definitions for advertising that the provider of the social media service may make available to us. With regard to statistics that the provider of the social media service makes available to us, we can only influence them to a limited extent and cannot switch them off. However, we make sure that no additional optional statistics are made available to us.

With regard to data that you send us confidentially (e.g. by letter or e-mail), we fundamentally rule out passing on the data to third parties outside of the social media service. Exceptionally, data is processed on our behalf by processors. These are carefully selected in each case and are also contractually obligated by us in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

All personal information that you send us in the case of inquiries (suggestions, praise or criticism) by secure message (e.g. by letter or e-mail) will be deleted by us no later than 90 days after the final reply has been given to you, or safely anonymized. The retention of 90 days is explained by the fact that it can occasionally happen that you as a customer contact us again about the same matter after an answer and we then have to be able to refer to the previous correspondence. Experience has shown that, as a rule, after 90 days there are no more questions about our answers.

All public posts by you on this social media presence remain in the timeline indefinitely, unless we delete them due to an update of the underlying topic, a violation of the law or violation of our guidelines, or you delete the post yourself.

We have no possibility of influencing the deletion of your data by the provider of the social media service itself. Therefore, the data protection regulations of the respective operator also apply.

Data processing by the operator of the social media platform

The operator of the social media platform uses web tracking methods. Web tracking can also take place regardless of whether you are logged in or registered on the social media platform. As already mentioned, we unfortunately have little influence on the web tracking methods of the social media platform. For example, we cannot switch this off.

Please be aware: It cannot be ruled out that the provider of the social media service uses your profile and behavioral data, for example to evaluate your habits, personal relationships, preferences, etc. This is done on the basis of the data protection principles of the provider and, if necessary, on the basis of the consent you have given to them. In this respect, we have no influence on the processing or transfer of your data by the provider of the social media platform and also no access to any data collected and stored by the operator.
