Why
Heilbronn?
Opportunities Abound...
Heilbronn is a region of opportunity, where things are always happening. The best way to understand this is to visit our campus space. Chances are, you’ll immediately bump into investors from a significant startup fund, say high to some AI folks from Hamburg, or have lunch with an innovation team from Bosch. Don’t be surprised if an American investor asks you for your elevator pitch or if you sit down for a coffee chat with an Israeli tech-security scale-up.
Dynamic and Engaging
The Heilbronn-Franken area has been constantly rated as one of the most dynamic regions in Germany. From the Bildungscampus (home to HHN, TUM, DHBW, and other educational entities) to an AI innovation park, opportunities abound. The region is also host to major highway and waterway logistics centers, a myriad of small and medium-sized enterprises, and some of Germany’s largest retail chains.
Europes Heartland
Heilbronn is centrally located in the heart of Western Europe and roughly an hour away from 2 major international airports in Frankfurt & Stuttgart. Need to attend a business meeting in Munich, Strasbourg, or Zurich? Be there and back for dinner in a day, via train or car.
Culture & Community
Heilbronn celebrates a unique combination of both Schwäbisch and international culture and cuisine. Enjoy a Schwäbischer Zwiebelrostbraten and a locally grown wine in the center of an 800-year-old “free city” while chatting with colleagues & peers from the six main continents!
Family Friendly
Heilbronn is a medium-sized city, small enough to go anywhere in 10 minutes quickly, but large enough to find everything you need from shopping to high-quality schools to museums and entertainment. Enjoy a myriad of kid-friendly bike paths along the beautiful Neckar River, along with parks, swimming beaches, and hiking trails waiting to be explored.
A Cyclists Dream
Do you enjoy #bikelife? From Heilbronn, explore hundreds of kilometers of excellent trails. Feel like a downhill mountain biking in the black forest? How about coasting along the river to the medieval village of Bad Wimpfen? Or maybe a 50km tour to the Hirschhorn Castle? There are bike adventures to be had for every type of rider.
German’s Wine Region
Nothing better than a nice glass of wine after a long day of biz-dev, right? Heilbronn is the place to be, the Weinbasin of Germany. Visit Weinsburg (wine mountain) nearby for a Lemberger Red, or take part in one of many available weinswanderin (hiking tours meet wine drinking). Enjoy a traditional cellar tour, or cuddle up on a cold autumn day with a nice Federroter (a harvest „fresh“ wine).
